Real-Time Passenger Information System

Accurate ETAs, without depending on vehicle trackers

A real-time passenger information system that estimates bus arrivals without relying on vehicle-mounted tracking. In-built UHF RFID-enabled displays detect buses directly, so ETAs stay accurate even when on-board systems don’t.

How VLTS-independence works

Each display detects passing buses over UHF RFID and computes arrivals from real observations — no dependency on the health of a separate vehicle tracking fleet.

Deployed at network scale

Rolled out across a 29-stop township bus network, giving commuters dependable arrival information at the stop itself — the difference between waiting and knowing.

At the stop

29 bus stops across a planned township network in eastern India.

Questions? You’re covered

Why not just use GPS on buses?
Vehicle-mounted tracking adds retrofit cost and fails with the vehicle. RFID detection at the stop keeps ETAs accurate independently.
Yes — display units are fitted to existing covered and uncovered stops.
Arrival feeds can integrate with city dashboards and citizen-facing channels as required.
